National cricket team’s historical victory commendable

Thousands of Afghan sports fans poured to the streets of the country, with joy to celebrate the historic victory of their cricketers against Pakistan. In other provinces of the country, the Afghans took to the streets to express their feeling about the heaviest crashes, the Afghan National Cricket Team inflicted on their Pakistani rivals in Monday’s historic event in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 that has been hosted by India. This was a great event in the country’s cricket history making nearly all Afghans around the country take to the streets, dance, sing and light fireworks to celebrate the grand victory. This was a history-making moment by the country’s heroic cricketers who defeated the most powerful team of the region by winning the match by “eight wickets” against the neighboring country with a historic background in the sport. When the Afghan families watched the whole match on TVs, they were hesitated to once see their team winning the match against the former world champion. But their mind changed and the country’s national cricket team won the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. This time, the country’s national team tried its best to play hard and carefully to not make even a tiny mistake during the match with the world-known cricketers. The Afghan nation strongly supports their national cricket heroes as they are on their way to the upcoming World Cup matches, as it has repeatedly brought them happiness and given them more joy in the past, and hope to do so in the future too. Both the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Islamic Emirate should further support the Afghan cricketers as they are working hard and doing their best to shine more and reach the peaks at the national and international level. International media also covered the event and called it a great victory for the Afghan cricketers, quoting the country’s players to have widely applauded for their cricketers during the World Cup. “Thank you for the prayers and support you made for us. We will try to shine and give you more joy,” this is what one of the country’s national cricket team members Rashid Khan responded to the reaction of the people on the great victory. Over the last twenty years of the former regimes, the country’s national teams; cricket, football and other sports fields have not been supported, encouraged, or funded as they received during the recent two years, after the resumption of power by the Islamic Emirate.
