Let’s share joy of Eid with others

The coming Wednesday 28th June coincides with the auspicious days of Eid al-Adha. The people of Afghanistan will celebrate the holy festival under full peace and security as well as with happiness as there are no funerals
for those killed in the war, but the Afghan nation has just found hope for life.
However, the bad effects of the past four decades of conflicts and economic sanctions have caused our nation to face a series of serious problems.
There are two official holidays in Islam Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha which are celebrated by Muslims worldwide. The former is celebrated at the end of the month of Ramadan, whereas Eid al-Adha lands on the 10th day of Zhual-Hijjah (the final month of the Islamic calendar).
Now that Eid al-Adha is just a few days away, Muslims around the world commemorate the sacrifices of Ibrahim (Peace Be Upon Him) of his son to Allah Almighty.
Some of our compatriots are unable to celebrate Eid as they are facing serious economic problems.
Meanwhile the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Mullah Hibatullah Akhunzada on the occasion of Eid al-Adha said that on this auspicious day, millions of Muslims all over the world perform pil-
grimage and it is a day of worship and brotherhood that invites Muslims to unite, sympathize and give charity in the path of Allah.
Our countrymen are celebrating Eid while the Islamic system exists and peace is ensured throughout the country, therefore, we should thank Allah Almighty to gain further rewards.
Under the rule of the Islamic Emirate, concrete measures have been taken to save women from many traditional oppressions, including forced marriages and their Sharia rights have been protected. Moreover, necessary steps
have been taken for the betterment of women as half of the society in order to provide them with a comfortable and prosperous life according to the Islamic Sharia. The negative aspects of the past 20-year occupation related
to women’s Hijab and misguidance will end soon. By issuing the six-article decree on women’s rights, the status of women as a free and dignified human beings has been restored and all institutions have been obliged to help
women in securing marriage, inheritance and other rights.
In order for the entire Muslim nation to celebrate Eid days with joy, the rich people should not only sacrifice meat but also provide clothing to the widows, orphans and poor people.
How will the rich man have the pleasure of sacrifice and new clothes, while their neighbor, orphan and poor compatriot is hungry?
“I call upon rich people and especially the relatives of the needy peoplto extend their support and pay full attention to their education and livelihood,” said the Islamic Emirate Leader.
Let’s share the joy of Eid with others, we can do it with very little sincerity and expense, bring happiness to the faces of widows, orphans and thpoor in our area and share the joy of Eid with them.
Let’s support our Muslim people with full strength and power and fulfill our responsibility.
