Islamic society, symbol of welfare and prosperity

For decades, Westerners and Muslims, with different ideas, have been spreading rumors and propaganda in different ways, claiming that Western society is civilized and developed while the Islamic society is backward.
Western countries have always said that the reason for their development is freedom from religion and the main reason for the backwardness of the Islamic society is the rule and domination of religion in all aspects of life.
Unfortunately, some simple-minded Muslims have also been deceived by the slogans of the west; however, Islam, more than any other religion and politics, wants to create a comfortable and developed society based on justice and fairness for the whole world. The Islamic society is a society full of security, equality, justice and prosperity, and when the Holy Prophet of Islam Mohammad (PBUH) migrated to Madina, he laid the foundations of a unique and prosperous society, where immigrants and residents of Madina had a brotherly, comfortable and peaceful life that couldn’t be found anywhere.
Therefore, both politics and religion make efforts to undermine each other. If religion holds political authority, its ambition is to exploit it to fulfill a divine mission. It claims that it derives authority from divinity and therefore its mission is holy, motivated to reform society under spiritual guidance. Politics, on the contrary, bereft of any value, directs its policy on the needs and requirements of society whereupon, it obliges to change laws
and system of government accordingly.
The Islamic society is unique from other religious societies in its composition, characteristics and structure. Islam presents a very comprehensive view when it comes to the portrayal of a perfect society.
The foundations of the social order in an Islamic society are the divine
revelations of the Holy Quran and Hadith and Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and in the Islamic conception of society, there is no room for racism and sectarianism, as every believer is equal in an Islamic society.
Also, a global social system is based on Tawheed (the oneness of Allah) which is the foundation for the world’s unity.
Another characteristic of an Islamic society is moderation as it is an Ummah of moderation and the concept of community moderation is explained very nicely in the Holy Quran.
Moderation of an Islamic society is the unity of the Ummah. The concept of brotherhood and being one community as a Ummah is mentioned clearly in the Holy Quran.
The major and very important characteristic of an Islamic society is that it is based upon Taqwa. The literal meaning of the word Taqwa is “a protective barrier or a shield”, but from the Islamic point of view, Taqwa can be
defined as placing a barrier or a shield between yourself and Allah’s punishment by performing good deeds. In this regard, Allah demands Taqwa from Muslims who are a part of an Islamic society to have Taqwa.
The characteristics of an Islamic society are diverse and one of them is the promotion of this society. Islam and Islamic society is not restricted to one area or a group of people but it is for everyone who believes in Allah. In
Islam, every nationality from around the world merges as one Ummah.
Islam transcends all kinds of ethnic backgrounds, nationalities and languages, and hence, creates an international community which is bound with each other due to their beliefs.
The very important characteristic of an Islamic society is the concept of Jihad. Jihad is meant to pleas.
