Internal reforms key to addressing foreign problems

53 / 100

This is a clear fact that any country has its own problems and challenges, but they cannot be addressed through foreign intervention.
Afghanistan is one of the clearest instances with scores of problems faced by the systems and the people, during the last more than forty-three years, including the era of the former Soviet Union invasion and the recent, American and its NATO allies occupation.
Tens of thousands of Afghans were martyred, hundreds of thousands of others sustained injuries as well as millions of others were forced to leave the country, due to the long occupation which left
numerous challenges unsolved locally.
The country not only faced harsh military occupation from the Western and NATO forces but politically as well. All technical and economic infrastructures of the country were destroyed during the cowardly invasions and long occupation. The consecutive occupations of the country by foreigners also left a vicious legacy of discord among different tribes of the country, the negative impacts of which are yet to be overcome.
Grappling with all these challenges, Afghanistan could not move towards development, despite lying on rich mines and hidden treasures, the main reason for which is the still availability of internal challenges, which required to be addressed internally in order to respond to all foreign challenges, the country faced since the last long years of foreign interferences.
When we see our internal problems growing, we should first blame ourselves and start implementing reforms in all sectors. By doing so, we can overcome our challenges with foreign elements, strongly resist any invasion and abnormalities felt from foreign and respond to any external interferences.
Numerous conferences and gatherings are being held in Afghanistan, but there are no tangible consequences, as many of the organizers, who cannot tolerate the unity, welfare and tranquility of the Afghans, sought their own interests through the so-called meetings held on Afghanistan, but, under different excuses blame us (particularly)
for not abiding by the international standards or violating human rights.
Likewise, they resorted to various propaganda against our country and wanted to besiege the public minds against the Islamic system, as they did against former regimes (even their own puppet ones) over the past nearly twenty years of foreign occupation. They spared no effort to create enmity among different tribes of the country, while on the other hand, blamed them for disunity among themselves.
So, in order to overcome all the challenges, we are facing domestically, there is a need for the system leadership to fight division, discords and disunity bring reforms in all sectors, restore transparency in all affairs of the government agencies and create friendship and brotherhood among different tribes. By doing so, we can win the
people’s trust and their support in our fight against all foreign dilemmas and thereby, there is no need of holding conferences and gatherings on our country by foreigners, as we will become capable of doing everything for our people through Afghan-led and Afghan-owned consultative gatherings which can help us overcome all our challenges with foreigners.
