The people of Afghanistan, since many years, have been experiencing various difficulties and are living bitter and hardships in their routine lives.
Although with the victory of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, insecurity, theft, looting, bullying, and violence were ended, but poverty and unemployment still persist and economic problems and have not left the economic-affected Afghan people.
Over the past two decades of the so-called republic governments, nothing has been done for the ordinary people. They had been abandoned with their own difficulties, while all the property of the people
were looted and went to the pockets of the corrupt officials and warlords.
After the takeover of the Islamic Emirate, the opportunists and those who have looted the nation’s property over the past twenty years under various names, have been ousted. By using the people’s wealth these individuals managed to transfer a significant amount of money outside the country, either depositing it in
foreign banks or constructed luxury buildings and palaces abroad for themselves and their offspring.
On the other hand, the occupying America’s act to freeze billions of dollars of the country’s central bank’s assets and prevent them from accessing their rightful funds has caused another problem for the destitute Afghans. The move hindered the progress and improvement of the people’s lives as they struggled with poverty, helplessness and numerous of other challenges.
These are the factors behind the poverty and economic challenges of the Afghan people. Now it is crucial for our system, national merchants, and capitalists to take the people’s hands, and prevent them from sinking further into the abyss of poverty and destitution.
Especially during the holy month of Ramadan, the people face overwhelming difficulties in terms of the economy and grappling with challenges. The destitute people are in dire need of assistance and financial support.
As Eid is approaching and everyone takes preparation for celebrating the holy religious festival, the people’s need for assistance and helpincreases.
Let us extend our helping hands through financial aid and Zakat al-Fitr (charitable donations at the end of the holy month of Ramadan) and ensure that the days of Eid are not overshadowed by hardship and
destitution.
The Islamic Emirate’s organs concerned are hoped to take this issue seriously and that the businessmen and rich people of the country extend the hands of help to the poor and needy people in this holy month.
