Harsh weather and poverty-stricken people

Although this year, the beginning of winter was a little warm compared to previous years, and people were somewhat indifferent to its future and the provision of firewood and fuel. Also, the poverty-stricken Afghans were not able to provide basic winter materials for the winter season.
Unfortunately, with the arrival of the cold weather, the price of basic items, including food and fuel increased and the difficulties for many Afghans doubled as most people cannot tolerate the heavy prices to heat their homes.
In other seasons, the people can work outside and earn something to provide their livelihood.
This is clear that in winter, humans are tightly bound by the thread of cold and severe chill and helping the overcome this problem is a very hard task.
On one hand, the forced deportation of hundreds of thousands of Afghan refugees by Pakistani and Iranian governments has added further difficulties to the problems of Afghans. However, the Islamic Emirate has done much to provide shelter and livelihood for them inside the country, where the winter is getting harsher. But still, there are a large number of people who are not able to afford essential things for the cold season.
Other charitable organizations, including national and international traders, also donated tons of edible and nonedible items as well as winter-related clothing and kitchen utensils for the returnees as well as those suffering lack of shelter and displaced internally due to natural disaster, particularly the recent deadly earthquake in
some provinces.
Also, a number of neighboring countries have provided food and other needed items for both the internally d is placed people and the repatriates.
Now as the winter is its mid-term, the internally displaced persons and most of the returnees are in dire need of assistance. They have no appropriate shelters, no enough food to eat, and enough fuel to heat their temporary shelters. In recent few days, the weather has been getting colder and most people, particularly, the IDPs and those returning home from the neighboring countries, are not even able to meet their daily
essentials.
So, those with enough economic living conditions should cooperate with those who live in harsh economic conditions. Being poor, nowadays, means being deprived of food and shelter. They hardly get opportunities to find food or other needed winter items. They, even have no adequate nutrition and are highly subject to various kinds of diseases or are lacking access to healthcare and essentials.
This does not mean that one should make the poor wealthy but this should be noted that they can at least help them with livelihood enough to survive the harsh winter.
Helping people in need with needed items and caring for them is a noble culture, as the prices are skyrocketing in the winter season compared to other seasons of the year.
On the other hand, the negative impacts of the past four decades of conflicts and the recent political and economic sanctions imposed by Western countries on the Islamic Emirate as well as the wave of returning Afghans from other countries, have faced our nation to though economic problems.
The country’s national traders and those with good economic statuses should continue their cooperation and perform their religious and human responsibility, by providing food and winter-related substances to the people in need everywhere in the country.
The related organs of the Islamic Emirate should also take effective measures to address the problems of the people during the harsh climate. This suffering nation is in desperate need of compassion, and from time to time, they turn their eyes towards the benevolence of the Islamic system, eagerly awaiting assistance and cooperation.
Therefore, the Islamic Emirate should dedicate all its capabilities and strengths to serving the homeland and the nation. It should consider resolving the nation’s problems as its religious, national, and conscientious responsibility and roll up its sleeves to free the nation from the clutches of difficulties, as undoubtedly, the success of governments depends on the satisfaction of the people.
