Doha meeting good opportunity, if strengthens IEA, world relations

Dozens of similar meetings have been held on Afghanistan; some with and some without the participation of the representative of the Islamic Emirate.

Dozens of similar meetings have been held on Afghanistan; some with and some without the participation of the representative of the Islamic Emirate.
These meetings are yet to yield fruit as the realities of Afghanistan, under the Islamic Emirate has not been honestly considered nor have the conditions of the incumbent system, that has full control of Afghanistan and has restored security of the whole country, been taken into discussion, by the participant countries.
Once again the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres convened a meeting on Afghanistan in Doha, the capital of the Arab country of Qatar on Sunday this week.
The meeting is said to be participated by representatives from nearly 20 countries who would talk about Afghanistan’s situation. The Islamic Emirate has also been invited to send its representative to the hosting country. Afghan women representatives would also visit Qatar to attend the talks, according to the organizers.
What should be noted is that when the UN authorities wanted the Islamic Emirate’s representative to participate in the meeting, then they should have shared the agenda with the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs prior to holding the meeting. So, this can be said the meeting, if the condition of the Islamic Emirate was not
met, would go in vain and would be unbeneficial. However, the meeting, as a proper opportunity is expected to give positive results for the Afghans and strengthen relations between Afghanistan, under the Islamic system and the world countries.
In reaction to the ongoing meeting of the UN in Doha of Qatar, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying: “The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan believed that the meeting of Special Envoys for Afghanistan being convened by UN Secretary-General António Guterres in the capital of Qatar, Doha, was a good opportunity to hold frank and productive dialogue on issues of disagreement.”
The country’s Ministry of Foreign has clarified to the UN that if the Islamic Emirate participates as the sole official representative of Afghanistan and ‘if there exists an opportunity to hold frank talks between the Afghan delegation and the UN about all issues on a very senior level, then participation would be beneficial.’
But, if not, both the meeting and the Islamic Emirate’s participation is ineffective and unbeneficial, due to non-progress in this area.
The UN, in the meeting, should realize the fact that what did the last twenty years of the so-called republic systems for the destitute nation and what the incumbent Islamic system has achieved during the last just two years. Also, the UN and other world powers should understand that in different fields, particularly in terms
of security and economy, the Islamic Emirate has done much and very well for the poverty-stricken Afghans.
