Development of Afghanistan will not be ignored
The World Bank recently published a detailed report on the economic situation of Afghanistan. The report indicated a series of developments in the economic situation of the country.
According to the report, the inflation rate has decreased, domestic food production has risen, and the value of Afghani currency against foreign currencies has strengthened leading to lower prices for both food and non food items.
The government has taken measures to reduce tariffs on imported food items and has made improvements in the banking system, making it more convenient for businesses. As a result, there have been more employment opportunities, increased exports and imports, and a boost in national revenue additionally, the report acknowledges timely payment of government employee salaries and improved healthcare services for the public.
The Deputy Prime Minister Office for Economic Affairs in a statement praised the recent report of the World Bank
and considered it to be the true picture of Afghanistan.
The Islamic Emirate believes that positive engagement from the international community, lifting sanctions and releasing frozen assets would facilitate comprehensive economic development, as well as progress in other areas.
Furthermore, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan requests the World Bank not only to disseminate factual information about Afghanistan but also to resume and complete the projects that were previously funded but remained unfinished.
After the takeover of the country by the Islamic Emirate, in addition to the international economic and political pressures, Afghanistan has also made significant progress in the economic sector, and the main reason for this is the real and serious fight against corruption and the commitment of the leaders of the Islamic Emirate.
The international community should no longer turn a blind eye to the real situation in Afghanistan, it should take quick steps for positive interaction with the Islamic Emirate and use the actual situation in Afghanistan as an opportunity, which is not only for Afghanistan, but it is also for the benefit of the world and the region.
